Chaque être humain est une énigme. Après le suicide de ma grand-mère Badé, j’ai hérité de sa TV et d’un magnétoscope avec quelques VHS “Souvenirs”. Adolescent, je pensais y trouver des réponses, mais les images délavées restaient muettes. Dix ans plus tard, je découvre qu’elle nous a laissé une clé, un récit autobiographique dans lequel elle raconte son histoire. Alors que ma femme est enceinte, je décide de partir à la rencontre de notre famille éclatée. En quête de vérité, j’explore le mystère de Badé en mettant son témoignage en perspective avec les films de famille tournés par mon grand-père, les souvenirs de ses proches et les photos au dos desquelles elle écrivait des commentaires. Qu’y a-t-il au dos de nos images ? · Every human being is an enigma. After the suicide of my grandmother Badé, I inherited her TV and a VCR with some VHS "Souvenirs". As a teenager, I thought I would find some answers, but the faded images were silent. Ten years later, I discovered that she left us a key, a text in which she tells her story. While my wife is pregnant, I decide to go to meet our broken family. In search of truth, I explore the mystery of Badé by putting his testimony in perspective with the family 8mm films shot by my grandfather, the memories of his relatives and the photos on the back of which she wrote comments. What is behind our images?
