Alik, 25 ans, clarinettiste, est le virtuose d’un orchestre dont l’existence est gravement menacée lorsque son mécène est assassiné. Une nuit, après s’être retrouvé en possession du téléphone d’un tueur à gage nommé « le virtuose », il décide d’usurper son identité. · Alik, 25, a clarinettist, is the virtuoso in this orchestra whose existence is seriously threatened when its key sponsor is murdered. One night, Alik comes into possession of a hired killer’s mysterious telephone, which is used only to commission hits. Manipulated by a crook’s daughter and wishing to save the orchestra at all costs, Alik decides to take on the identity of the killer known as “The Virtuoso”.

L’action se déroule dans un ancien relais de poste aménagé en maison-bastion de famille, au cœur du Berry de George Sand. On y suit les derniers maillons d’une filiation, affairés sur les rives du sillon laissé grand ouvert par son dernier occupant. Le mouvement s’insinue peu à peu dans cet espace un temps figé. · The action takes place in the middle of George Sand’s Berry region, in an old farm turned into a family estate and “stronghold”. The last remaining links in the chain bustle along the furrow left wide open by the house’s last occupant. Slowly but surely, this frozen space and time is put into motion.
